How can I make a reservation? On the home page of our reservation system, kindly select the room you wish to book. Check the availability for the desired period. Our calendars are up to date and reliable. When we confirm a booking, the calendars are updated automatically. If available, select the requested dates (Rmk: a minimum stay of 2 nights applies during weekend stays, 3 nights minimum for our self catering cottage). Follow the steps online and make a reservation request. We will come back to you very shortly with a confirmation proposal and a deposit request (usually the amount of the first night of your stay). To confirm your stay you will need to pay that deposit online with your credit card. Please note that other booking options might exist for dates shown as available. Booking options have no special priority. Options need to be followed by the payment of the deposit to be confirmed. Only the first paid will be confirmed. The other existing options will then be cancelled. The system is rejecting my dates although the calendar shows the room is available A minimum stay may apply for the dates you are trying to select. I.e. a minimum stay of 2 nights applies during weekend stays, 3 nights minimum for our self catering cottage. About our rates. Why is a single night stay more expensive? The price mentioned on our home page is the lowest rate per night (from) applicable for a several nights stay. Our normal minimum stay at Le Clos de la Rose is 2 nights. This allows us to charge a reasonable rate per night and offer an excellent value for money. But some of our guests, because of their own planning, would like to stay for 1 night only. This means for us washing sheets and towels and cleaning the room completely every day. We are using some very expensive, rare (and fragile) bed linen (some of them are real antiques and very valuable items). It is easy to understand that a 1 night stay has a significant impact on the costs. But rather than having to say always 'No sorry', we are accepting 1 night stays (except on Friday and Saturday nights) with a surcharge of EUR 20. When making an online booking request, our reservation system is automatically including this option. Check in and check out Please note that our rooms are available earliest at 4:00 pm on the day of arrival and should be left at 11:00 am latest on the departure date. Check in time is between 4:00 and 8:00 pm, unless otherwise agreed. Kindly let us know well ahead (the day before if possible) at what time you are likely to arrive. The day of your arrival we will also appreciate a phone call informing us more precisely at what time you will be with us. This is for us to make sure that there is somebody at home when you arrive. As we are welcoming you in our private home, there is no reception desk like in hotels where one can pop in at any time. |
